Inspections & Maintenance

 

When spring begins to roll around, that’s when allergies begin to act up for many people; are you one of them? It’s important to have a licensed HVAC technician inspect your system and advise you if you have any corroded equipment, leaky duct work or dirty filters that can introduce pollen, pet dander and dust mites into your home. Also, if the level of humidity is not where it should be, it can create mold, mildew or bacteria. Without maintenance, your AC unit may actually be making your allergies worse.

With the warm season looming, we offer AC Inspections covering things such as cleaning the condensate drain line, monitoring operational performance, and much more. At CMAGS HVAC, we begin performing inspections once the weather starts to warm up.

AC Inspection Procedure Includes:

​

  • Check the thermostat settings per homeowner's requests

  • Lubricate the blower motor (if necessary)

  • Examine and clean the condensate drain line

  • Inspect the condensate pump operation

  • Look over system controls and safety circuits for proper operation

  • Inspect the air filter

  • Assess the condenser coil and perform a cleaning it if necessary

  • Go over the system's evaporator for adequate air flow

  • Inspect overall operational performance
